Looking for more information about the work that we do? This is a collection of all the questions we are asked most often, listed here for your convenience. If there is anything we didn’t cover, please let us know.
IS YOUR ORGANIZATION TRANSPARENT?
We are very open with all the work we do, as we post it onto our Instagram page every time our members participate in volunteer opportunities. We show what the participants are doing, whom they are volunteering for, and what their impact was.
WHAT ABOUT THE LANGUAGE BARRIER?
Most of the volunteer work found here is English speaking, so you do not need to worry about the language barrier. With volunteer work that requires people to know Japanese, we will specify in the details of the job. And even if you can only speak English and wish to participate in a Japanese speaking opportunity, that is okay because we can pair you with a student who can speak both English and Japanese to help translate for you.
How does transportation work?
Depending on the volunteer opportunity, the school will provide us with a budget, or transportation to certain places. There may be times when it will require you to pay on your own to get to certain places, it varies by opportunity.
